Nancy Heins

I moved to the beautiful Central Coast twenty years ago after spending many years in the Eastern Sierra
town of Mammoth Lakes. I first fell in love with San Luis Obispo County in my college years with many
visits to Cal Poly friends and a fascination for Hearst Castle and the Big Sur Coastline. I love the small
town feel of San Luis Obispo County particularly as it comes with many vibrant amenities of more urban
areas. I chose this area to build my real estate career when the opportunity presented itself.

My education is a BA in Anthropology from CSU Northridge with graduate studies in Archaeology. My
love of skiing lead me to a rewarding career at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, which encompassed
instructor, coach, supervisor, major event organizer and human resource/skills assessor plus liaison for
international instructors. I credit my coaching and ski area years for developing strong communication
and negotiation skills that have served me well in real estate.

I began my career in real estate in 2006, not the best time to start, but it was the best time to learn.
Fast forward through the difficulties of the both recession and the expansion markets which I feel have
schooled me well. Referrals and repeat business from past clients have been the rewards of my
successful track record of sales. This ultimately led me to further my education and obtain broker’s
license in 2015. I understand, enjoy and thrive with today’s technology. My years in real estate have
rewarded me in San Luis Obispo County and I continue to be passionate about what about this business
and this county.

I believe in setting my client’s expectations and knowledge of any transaction so they are confident and
successful when both buying or selling real estate. I thoroughly enjoy my clients and have been
rewarded by each relationship and each successful transaction. I am energetic, determined and bring a
strong work ethic, attention to detail, organizational skills and commitment that have won me awards
from broker and peers. But the one award I seek most is a satisfied client and referrals from satisfied
clients!
